great class, just what I needed after a 8 day vacation without pilates, to get into the groove.
What if you can't get your lower back off the mat at @12:53? Should I do reverse crunches instead? I had a baby late last year, she was a C-Section, and there are some movements I can't do.

I am experienced at Pilates. I was first introduced to it almost 50 years ago, when I was a professional ballet dancer and Pilates was not yet a "thing" (there was one studio in NYC). I feel confident that I understand the fundamentals and body placement very well, and I find your classes challenging enough. 💠

Thank you Beth. That was very kind and insightful. I kept thinking about how you, we, keep pushing ourselves. One thing ive learned and appreciate in your instruction is to ask what movement serves in that moment. If after listening to our body Instead of doing x doing a variation is good, and often more beneficial. I dont hear other instructioners giving us permission and encouragement to think like this. I think your experience has created and informed this style.

This is great. I've been doing trifecta pilates consistently. I'm always concerned about muscles, wishing to gain more strength now I'm 50 plus. I think most of us have a few bits of equipment now so a mix of weights and bands are a good idea. Thank you Beth

This was amazing, never thought the blanket would provide such a challenge. The lifting of leg and arm while back on blanket was the most challenging, I couldn't manage and had to put legs down a couple of times. Hopefully as I get stronger will be able to keep going without dropping legs.
I have had a tkr, so I had to modify the last part, in the knees, to a standing position, but this is exactly what I need! Thank you so much!! ❤
